We really appreciate it when guests leave comments in our guestbook. It helps us to ensure that high standards are maintained and improvements be made where necessary. Although we have lived in the area for many years, guests often find places of interest to visit, good eateries etc that we are unaware of and pass on their recommendations to future guests through the guestbook.
At the end of the day we want our guests to experience a relaxing and enjoyable holiday which has allowed them to get the most out of their stay.
Here are some recent comments:
"The cottage is very spacious and light. The sitting room on the top floor is lovely and gets a lot of sun. The cottage is very comfortable as are the beds. Peebles town centre has a variety of shops and eating places. The Peebles Hydro is lovely for coffee and shortbread (made at the Hydro) traquair House is only 7 miles away and a pleasant trip and tour. Thanks Lucy for making us welcome and the milk, biscuits and flowers on arrival." Mr & Mrs Hodgins. Yorkshire May 2012
"Friendly and helpful owners. Tea making facilities, milk and delicious biscuits on arrival, plus a later telephone call to make sure we were settled and to see if we needed any help. The
cottage was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for the two of us. The location was excellent, easy to get around and so much to see and do in the area. Peebles itself has much to offer.
Supermarket only 100 yards away did away with the need to go shopping or stock up on arrival. The terrace room was wonderful, so peaceful and sunny even on the most moserable of days! A lovely place
to stay and though we don't often visit the same place twice, in this case we are sure to make an exception." Mrs Marilyn Hughes. Bolton June 2012
